One Country, One People

Learning history is important so we can understand the present condition of our society.

I have learned during the 1st quarter that ancient Filipinos have their own form of government and social classes even before Spain colonized the Philippines.

The early Filipinos learned to adapt to the changing climate. They cultivated plants and improved their stone tools. Farming, pottery making, weaving ,jewelry making and boat building are some of the industries during the pre-Spanish era.

The establishment of Spanish colonial order changed the form of government of the ancient Filipinos.
